Biophysics holds immense potential to address Africa’s pressing challenges in health, agriculture, energy, and technology. The growth of Biophysics on the continent has been limited by gaps in education, research infrastructure, and mentorship. “Synergizing Biophysics Education and Research: Enhancing Mentorship for Africa’s Scientific Future” emphasizes the integration of robust academic training with cutting-edge research, supported by strong mentorship networks. By fostering collaboration between educators, researchers, and mentors, this initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of African biophysicists, strengthen research capacity, and ensure that biophysics knowledge is effectively applied to local and global needs. Ultimately, it aims to build a sustainable ecosystem where education, research, and mentorship work hand in hand to advance Africa’s scientific and technological future.
