COVID-19: Science, Stories, and Resources

Science Articles

The Biophysical Society is sharing science articles to help educate and communicate information about the rapidly evolving findings and effects of COVID-19.

Biophysical Trivia

Do you know what is written on Ludwig Boltzmann’s tombstone? Or what “crunchy” technique enables rapid and accessible gene editing? What about the process by which an organism grows towards or away from light?

If you answered yes, be sure to check out the daily trivia questions at the BPS Society Booth for the last two days of the annual meeting! Each day of the meeting there has been a fun trivia question, and if you answer it correctly, you’re entered into a drawing to win a free biophysical society t-shirt!

Even if you’re not t-shirt motivated, the questions are fun, clever, and so far pretty accessible to a wide biophysics audience, at several levels of background knowledge. Plus, the folks at the society booth are friendly, and if they’re not busy, happy to chat.

If you like trivia and need a break, be sure to check it out!
