What Do Proteins Do?

At the 2018 festival, the Society will be exploring proteins:  what they do, how they are made, and why the are important.

The Biophysical Society is a proud supporter and exhibitor at this biennial event.

In just three days, Biophysical staff and member volunteers are able to share the power and beauty of biophysics research with over 6,000 people at this free event.  BPS members engage with students and members of the public through hands-on activities, such as making neuron models out of pipe cleaners or manipulating proteins!
