Jane on Third: My Favorite Spot for a Quick Break

Sometimes the best part of a long conference day is finding a familiar place to reset. I had been to a Jane cafe in a different part of the city and really liked it, so when I spotted Jane on Third just two minutes from the Moscone Center, I had a feeling it would be a great choice.

I ended up loving it so much that I went back twice in the same day. What is great about this spot is the variety; it is not just a coffee shop. They have everything from their signature bakery items and to fresh salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and great breakfast options. It is the perfect place for a fresh and flavorful bite when you need a break from the conference crowd.

At the end of the last session yesterday, I was feeling quite tired and really just wanted a quiet tea with a friend. Since it was already past 5 PM, we didn't expect to find a place nearby still serving great tea. To our surprise, Jane was still open and they even had Moroccan Mint tea. If you are a tea lover, you know that finding a proper Moroccan Mint is not always easy. Sitting there with a hot cup after such a busy day was exactly what I needed to recharge.

As a bonus, since Jane is located right inside the SFMOMA, it’s a great excuse to see some art. The cafe is on the ground floor and open to the public, so you can enjoy the museum's free public galleries even without a ticket.
