Biophysical Journal is Searching for Social Media Contributors

Are you a junior faculty member or early-career researcher with a passion for social media? Biophysical Journal is on the search for new Social Media Contributors to blog and tweet about the exciting new science coming out of our upcoming issues.

Not only is this a great opportunity to grow your writing and social media skills but a chance to keep your finger on the pulse of Biophysics news and connect with the Society’s 7,500 members. Contributors will be expected to prepare 60-70 tweets throughout the year and one blog post each quarter. Tweets will appear on the Biophysical Journal twitter page without attribution. Blog posts will be attributed. Social Media Contributors will have their names included in the journal masthead and will receive a small stipend. The position will last for a year.

Interested candidates, submit your application here by June 1. To learn more about the content BJ is looking for, follow us @BiophysJ and visit the society blog here.
