Child Care

Get the most out of the Annual Meeting, but don’t leave the family behind! The Biophysical Society provides discounted child care at the Annual Meeting through KiddieCorp. Trained professionals will be on hand to watch children of all ages, and the fee includes fun activities and light snacks. Pre-registration is recommended. As always, a family room will be available in the Convention Center, stocked with diapers, electrical
outlets, a small refrigerator, private areas for nursing, and a small area for rest and play. To register your child for the child care service, visit the Annual Meeting website under the General Information tab.

Biomolecular Discovery Dome

Sunday, February 26 and
Monday, February 27

See proteins and molecular machines like you’ve never seen them before in the Biomolecular Discovery Dome, an audio-visual immersion experience that takes you inside the world of cells and viruses.
The full-dome theater will run multiple short films on various topics such as virus structure and infection mechanisms, proteins, red blood cell receptors, and flagella in parasites. The Biomolecular Discovery Dome will be located near the registration area. This new event is sponsored by the Public Affairs Committee.
