U.S. Citizens

Any U.S. passport holder can enjoy visa-exempt entry into Taiwan for up to 90 days for whatever purpose if:
- He or she has a passport with validity of at least six months after entry; and
- He or she has a confirmed return air ticket or an air ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed seat reservation for departure;

- He or she has no criminal record.

Attendees from other countries should contact the Embassy/Consulate in their area for country-specific regulations on travel to Taiwan.

Chinese Citizens with Mainland Residency

Mainland residents need to first apply for a Mainland residents Taiwan Pass from PRC authorities, and then apply for an Exit and Entry Permit Taiwan Republic of China and a Tourist Visa from POC authorities.  An Exit and Entry Permit and a Tourist Visa may be applied through a travel agency.  Supporting documents and financial statements will need to be provided.
