The Accra Computational Biophysics Exchange: Empowering the Next Generation of Drug Designers is a one-day networking and scientific exchange event designed to bring together students, early-career researchers, academics, and professionals working in computational biophysics, structural biology, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, and drug discovery.
The event will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about emerging computational approaches in modern drug discovery, interact with experienced researchers and professionals, share research interests, and establish collaborations and mentorship connections. Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting early career scientists and strengthening the computational biophysics and drug discovery community in Ghana and the wider Africa research ecosystem.
The programme will include scientific presentations, interactive discussions, networking sessions, career and research-development conversations, and opportunities for participants to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
