This virtual event will be held on October 11, 2023 from 11 am - 1:45 pm US Eastern time. Time zone converter
This virtual mini-symposium is intended to catalyze the creation and nurturing of synergetic relationships among groups performing experimental research and those with expertise in computational biophysics. A wide variety of the collaborations between experimental and computational biophysics will be showcased. The event format and the speakers selected (see below) align with this goal of fomenting the interaction between experiments and computation in different areas of biophysics. This event will take place during the Hispanic Heritage Month. It is primarily addressed to members of the SoBLA, but open to the general public. In this context, the scope is to open or consolidate networking channels between biophysicists with a common origin in or affection with Latin America.
This event is being organized and hosted by BPS members Dr. Cecilia Bores Quijano, Union College, Dr. Viviana Monje-Galvan, University at Buffalo (SUNY), and Dr. Patricia Soto, Creighton University.
