Postdoctoral Research Awards

The Postdoctoral Research Award is given to two current postdoctoral scholars/fellows for outstanding research in the field of intrinsically disordered proteins. Awardees will each receive a $500 honorarium and present a short talk at the IDP Subgroup Symposium at the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting. The selection committee will choose the top two abstracts from those submitted on the basis of scientific quality and diversity with respect to the topics to be discussed by the other invited speakers.


  • Current postdoctoral scholars/fellows in the field of intrinsically disordered proteins

Nomination packets must include the following:

  • Letter from the applicant's advisor confirming postdoctoral status of the applicant
  • A copy of the abstract submitted to the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting, under the topic "Intrinsically Disordered Proteins"
