Membership to the Society is open to those who have educational, research, or practical experience or are pursuing a course of study in biophysics or in an allied scientific field.

Student

Available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a course of study in biophysics or in an allied scientific field.

Early Career

Available for up to six years from date of first professional degree (Master's or Doctorate).

Regular

Available to those who have held a professional degree for seven or more years and are active in their respective fields.

Emeritus Membership

Emeritus membership is complimentary to those who are retired from the field, are at least 60 years of age, and have paid regular membership dues to the Society for at least ten consecutive years.

Developing Country Membership

These rates are for members who reside full-time in countries classified as lower and lower-middle income countries by The World Bank.

Regular Members: $50 per year.

Early Career Members: $35 per year.

Student Members: $10 per year, up to 5 years.

*Student rate is applicable for a total of eight years, allotting up to three years of membership as an Undergraduate student and up to five years of membership as a Graduate student.
