Networking in New York and Tennessee

The Biophysical Society will sponsor its first two networking events of 2012 in April. The first will take place in New York City, New York, and the second in Memphis, Tennessee.

April 19, 2012
Davis Auditorium
(Schapiro CESPR Building)
Columbia University, New York City
Hosted by: Christopher Bergevin, Columbia University, and
Dáibhid Ó Maoiléidigh, Rockefeller University

Symposium on Biomolecular Structure, Dynamics, and Function

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Memphis, Tennessee
Hosted by: Kevin Gardner, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center;
Richard Kriwacki, St. Jude Research Hospital; and

A third event is scheduled to take place at the University of Kentucky on May 11, 2012. Later in the year, the Society will sponsor events in Concepcion, Chile, Charlottesville, Virginia, and Vilnius, Lithuania.

These networking events foster interactions among scientists interested in biophysics who work in the same geographic region but may not cross paths on a regular basis.
