Now Accepting New and Notable Nominations

December 1 is the last day for members to submit suggestions for speakers to be featured in the New and Notable Symposium at the Biophysical Society’s Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Unlike the other symposia, which were planned months before the meeting, the New and Notable Symposium allows late-breaking and exciting results to be presented as brief talks.

If you have results that you think are worthy of inclusion in this session, or if you know of someone who might be suitable for this session, please visit and complete all of the required information fields by December 1, 2014

Art of Science Image Contest

The deadline to submit your entry to the Biophysical Society’s Art of Science Image Contest is December 1, 2014. Voting will take place during the 59th Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. All Society members attending the 2015 Annual Meeting are invited to submit entries and to vote during the meeting. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Images submitted for the competition may be obtained using any imaging technique, and must have a connection to biophysical research. Judging will be based on scientific significance, originality, and artistic and/or visual impact of the images.

For more information and to submit your image, please visit the website.
