Become a Biophysics Week Ambassador!

Help get the word out about what biophysics is and its significant scientific contributions by hosting an event during Biophysics Week. Take this opportunity to celebrate the work of biophysicists around the globe! This is a unique opportunity to give your institution and your field significantly greater visibility.

You do not need to be a member of the Biophysical Society to be a part of Biophysics Week. We are pleased and excited to welcome the participation of all individuals and organizations who are enthusiastic about the field of Biophysics.

Ideas for Hosting an Event

Not sure what you could do? Here are some ideas to consider:

  • Host a Guest Lecturer
  • Set up an Awareness Table at your local school highlighting your major and/or department
  • Plan a local meet-up of biophysicists
  • Schedule a lunch seminar showcasing student research in biophysics
  • Teach a lesson on biophysics to a local high school class
  • Conduct a lab tour or a tour to show off your school’s major facilities
  • If you have a related event already planned in February or March 2017, please consider making it a part of the Biophysics Week instead.

Register Your Event

To register an event please fill out the form below so we can advertise the event in press releases, advance announcements, and online.  We will be collecting events through Biophysics Week, but the earlier you plan your event, the more the Society can assist with getting the word out.

We encourage you to use the Biophysics Week 2017 logo to promote your event and remember to take and share photos, tweet #BiophysicsWeek, and enjoy!
