The Biophysical Society sponsors poster presentation awards at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Latinos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) each year. Undergraduate students who plan to attend the SACNAS conference are encouraged to submit posters and compete for prizes.

Applicable posters should be submitted to the Biophysics subdiscipline under Biology or Physics. The scientists who judge the posters are Society members from academic institutions, societies, and industry. Members of the Society’s Minority Affairs Committee (MAC) participate as judges for the SACNAS poster presentation awards.
