GOVERNANCE & ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR

The Biophysical Society is seeking Governance & Administration Coordinator for busy office. 2+ years experience in non-profit associations or office and customer-service positions preferred. Responsibilities include working with 7 committees and assisting with committee initiatives; assisting in planning Council meetings; scheduling conference calls and meetings; taking minutes; making travel arrangements; assisting finance/hr department, including helping with the hiring process; assisting and scheduling/maintaining a calendar for the Executive Officer; Must have strong organizational, written and oral communication skills; excellent computer skills, including experience with databases; and superb attention to details and deadlines. SALES & EXHIBITS MANAGER

The Biophysical Society is seeking a Sales & Exhibits Manager to market and sell exhibits and all society advertising opportunities, including publication ads, online ads, exhibitor presentations, meeting sponsorships, and corporate memberships. Must have experience developing strategic marketing/sales plans and direct mail and e-mail marketing campaigns. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 5 years experience required. Non-profit and database experience helpful. When submitting resume, please detail total number of exhibits sold and total number of convention attendees for each show.
