Registration must be received by January 10, 2011, to qualify for early rates. Regular registration rates will go into effect on January 11, 2011, and will remain on-site at the meeting.

Special Combination Rate:  Meeting attendees may take advantage of the special non-refundable, non-transferable rates offered when completing an abstract submission and registering for the meeting at the same time. This offer is only available at the time of abstract submission and only available for the presenting author through October 3. Fees are not transferable and non-refundable.

Registration includes the following: Admission to all scientific sessions, poster area, and exhibits; National Lecture and Awards Ceremony; programs for minorities, students, postdocs, and international attendees; printed program, online itinerary planner, and meeting badge; opening mixer and meet & greet; and reception and dance.

Registration badges will not be mailed, but will be available for pick up in the registration area of the Baltimore Convention Center. Admission to all scientific sessions, poster area, exhibits, and Society social functions require a badge.

Registration Reminders

After you have completed your registration to attend the meeting, don’t forget to:

  1. Complete your abstract submission. Remember: if you have only paid $60, you are NOT registered for the meeting (this fee is only to complete the abstract submission).
  2. Make your air and/or ground transportation arrangements to Baltimore, Maryland.
  3. Book your hotel room through the Biophysical Society Housing Bureau to ensure you get the best rates offered for the Annual Meeting.

Abstracts CD/Supplement to the Biophysical Journal

All regular abstracts submitted by October 3, 2010, and accepted by the Program Committee will be published as a supplement to the Biophysical Journal. All registered attendees will receive a CD of the supplement on-site. 

Printed Program and Online Program Planner

All registered attendees will receive a printed copy of the Annual Meeting Program on-site at the conference. Beginning January 10, 2011, attendees may view abstracts submitted to Symposia, Workshops, Minisymposia, Platforms, and Poster Sessions for each day of the meeting through the online Itinerary Planner. Attendees may also use this planner to create their own personal itineraries for session attendance and poster viewing at the meeting.
