We are anticipating approximately 100 attendees.

To assist attendees in obtaining a visa, the Biophysical Society will issue a letter of invitation.  To obtain a letter of invitation you must first register for the meeting and pay any registration fees in full.  Submit your request for a letter of invitation to [email protected].

An online program will be available one month prior to the meeting for registered attendees to upload or print. 

Registration includes admission to all scientific sessions and poster area, coffee breaks, lunch, welcome reception, and one banquet dinner.  

Meeting registrations are non-transferable. Requests for registration cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing to [email protected] no later than Friday, May 16, 2026. No refund requests will be granted after that date. A $50 fee will be deducted from all registration’s cancellation refunds. 

If you or your institution requires a receipt for registration, please send your request via email to [email protected]. Be prepared to provide your name or Membership ID number and any information your institution requires (i.e. method of Payment, verification name or signature).

You can receive a Certificate of Attendance at on-site registration.

Unfortunately, meeting registrations are non-transferable.

Yes, you will need to create a myBPS account and password in order to submit an abstract.  If you do not have a myBPS account, you will need to create one.

The abstract submission deadline is Monday, April 27, 2026, 11:59 PM USA Eastern Time.  

The Biophysical Society Office will email abstract scheduling notices only to Presenting Authors no later than the week of May 4, 2026. The Presenting Author is responsible for notifying all authors on the abstract of scheduling details.

No, you do not need to be a member of the Society to submit an abstract. 

Revisions for abstract submissions must be received by Monday, April 27, 2026, 11:59 PM USA Eastern Time.

The deadline for abstract submission withdrawal is Monday, April 27, 2026, 11:59 PM USA Eastern Time. Requests for abstract withdrawal must have been received in writing by the Biophysical Society via email: [email protected] from the presenting author’s email address. The presenting author's full name and abstract number must be included in the withdrawal request.

You must bring your own laptop, power supplies, and adaptors.  We also suggest you bring a back-up of your presentation on a USB drive, in case of any unforeseen problems.
