We are anticipating approximately 100 attendees.

To obtain a letter of invitation you must first register for the meeting and pay any registration fees in full.  Submit request for a Letter of Invitation. 

An E-book of the program will be posted online prior to the meeting.  A daily schedule will be available for pickup at the Registration desk on-site.

Registration for those residing outside of Oxford includes admission to all scientific sessions and poster area, printed daily schedule, breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and a dinner banquet as well as sleeping accommodations for 4 nights (arrival Sunday, departure Thursday). 

Registration for Oxford residents includes admission to all scientific sessions and poster area, printed daily schedule, breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and a dinner banquet. Sleeping accommodations are not included.

Meeting registrations are non-transferable. Requests for registration cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing to the BPS Office and postmarked by May 14, 2027. No refund requests will be granted after that date.  A $50 fee will be deducted from all registration cancellation refunds. 

Note: One day and partial registrations are not available.

If you or your institution requires a receipt for registration, please send your request via email to [email protected].  Be prepared to provide your name or Membership ID number and any information your institution requires (i.e. method of Payment, verification name or signature).

You can receive a Certificate of Attendance at on-site registration.

Meeting registrations are non-transferable.

If you have not already done so, you will need to create a myBPS account and password in order to submit an abstract.

The early abstract submission deadline is April 19, 2027, 11:59 PM, USA Eastern Time.
 

The Biophysical Society Office will email early abstract scheduling notices only to Presenting Authors no later than Friday, April 30, 2027. The Presenting Author holds the responsibility of notifying all authors on the abstract of the scheduling.

No, you do not need to be a member of the Society to submit an abstract. 

You can make edits to your abstracts by going into your member account. All edits for early abstract submissions must be received by April 19, 2027, 11:59 PM, USA Eastern Time.

The deadline for withdrawals of early abstract submissions is April 19, 2027, 11:59 PM, USA Eastern Time. Requests for abstract withdrawal must have been received in writing by the Biophysical Society via email: [email protected] from the presenting author’s email address. The presenting author's full name and abstract number must be included in the withdrawal request.

You must bring your own laptop, power supplies, and adaptors.  We also suggest you bring a back-up of your presentation on a USB drive, in case of any unforeseen situations.

No. Attendees must make their reservations through the Biophysical Society at the time of registration.
