Leading scientists across the globe turn to Biophysical Journal (BJ) every month for timely research, including original articles and letters on molecular, cellular and general biophysics. The journal is also available as BJ Online. The Biophysical Society Abstracts Issue is published annually as a supplement to Biophysical Journal.  All Society members receive a free subscription to BJ Online as well as the opportunity to publish free color in the Journal and pay lower page charges. 

In order to make new research readily available to readers throughout the world, BioFAST prepublishes papers accepted for publication in Biophysical Journal.  Those papers appear in manuscript format within one week of acceptance and are available at no cost to readers. Papers appearing in BioFAST have undergone full scientific review but no editing, such as copyediting, typesetting, or proofreading. These papers appear later in final, edited format in the print version of BJ and in BJ Online.
