The
Biophysical Society is a non-profit international organization, with over
25% of its members working outside the United States. Membership
to the Society is open to those who have educational, research, or practical
experience in biophysics or in an allied scientific field. The Society
offers three membership categories:
regular,
early
career, and
student.
Membership to the Society offers many benefits, including the right to submit and/or sponsor an Annual Meeting abstract, free access to BJ Online, reduced registration rates to Annual Meeting, lower page charges and free color in Biophysical Journal, bi-monthly Newsletter, free use of the Placement Service for Candidates and reduced rates for Employers, opportunities to join subgroups, apply for travel awards, receive a copy of the annual Membership Directory, and more.
In addition, the Society offers corporate membership. There are three levels of annual membership, each with distinct benefits.
