On May 7th, President Obama sent his budget request for Fiscal Year 2010 Budget to Congress. While the President has proposed an 8% increase to the National Science Foundation budget, his requests for the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Energy Office of Science are significantly lower, 1.3% and 2.1% respectively.
