Dublin airport is situated approximately 6 miles/10 kilometers from the city-centre, on the north side of the city. It is located just off the M1 motorway (Dublin-Belfast road) approximately 2 km south of the town of Swords. Dublin Airport has an extensive short and medium-haul route network: several domestic Irish routes, around thirty routes to its nearest neighbour, the United Kingdom, and a vast network of routes to Continental Europe. Bus - Aircoach
Dublin Airport is accessible by over 1,000 buses and coaches daily. From the airport, you can reach many areas in and around Dublin, as well as various towns and cities across Ireland. Aircoach buses pick up passengers from various zones around the airport. Passengers should follow the signs for the relevant zone from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Disembark at Merrior Square North for the O'Callaghan Davenport, Alexander and Mont Clare Hotels (1 minute walk). For more information on bus routes click here.
If you have heavy luggage, we suggest that you take a taxi. Taxis are available from the forecourts directly outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers should follow taxi signage to the designated taxi ranks. A taxi dispatcher is available at either taxi rank if you require any further information or assistance. The DART is a public, rapid train that runs through the city centre to the northern and southern extremities of the city. It is lovely to take a trip on the DAR to visit one of Ireland's beautiful coastal towns. Many have colorful vibrant weekend markets. Howth is a beautiful fishing village north of the line. South of the line Dun Laoghaire has a lovey Sunday market. Many of the nearby villages are served by DART stops and have excellent fish restaurant. Pearse Street is the closest DART stop to the O'Callaghan Alexander, the O'Callaghan Davenport and the O'Callaghan Mont Clare Hotels. It is within a 5 minute walk.

Driving Directions from Dublin International Airport
From the Airport follow the M1/N1 to the city centre. This route takes you through Drumcondra, onto Dorset Street. Turn left off Dorset Street onto South Frederick Street which leads on to Parnell Square and on to O'Connell Street.
Continue straight down O'Connell Street and over O'Connell Bridge onto D'Olier Street, then College Green and around Trinity College, staying in the left lane and continue on to Nassau Street. At the end of Nassau Street keep left on to Lincoln Place staying in the right hand lane.
At the next set of traffic lights, the O'Callaghan Davenport Hotel will be visible straight ahead, the O'Callaghna Mont Clare Hotel faces the O'Callaghan Davenport Hotel on the other side of the street.
