Criteria for holding an Ancillary Meeting
2013 Ancillary Meeting Proposal Deadline: PASSED
Please note that ancillary meetings may not be scheduled in conflict with scientific sessions at the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting.
Requests for meeting space must be submitted in writing to the Biophysical Society office no later than Monday, October 1, 2012.
Your request must include the following:
- A description of the meeting and its purpose
- Estimated attendance
- Desired room setup
- A statement of how the meeting, if approved, wishes to be announced in the Program
The Biophysical Society is a scientific and international organization, and each request will be evaluated on these two criteria.
If approved, the Society will provide contacts for food and beverage as well as audio visual needs at the Convention Center.
