The student housing deadline has lapsed. Students who submitted an application will receive confirmation by the end of December.
♦Student Housing Application
- Your application is not complete without a copy of your Annual Meeting Registration Receipt, or Combo Fee Receipt.
- You only need to submit an application if you would like a single bed (no sharing) in 500 West. All other hotel reservations must go through the BPS Housing Bureau. In some cases, sharing a room with students you are traveling with may be less expensive than a single in the student property.
Student housing will be available for undergraduate and graduate student meeting attendees who are current Society members. Currently, the Biophysical Society has reserved space at 500 West, San Diego, solely for student housing purposes to guarantee the best rate possible. 500 West can accommodate one person, per room, in a twin sized bed. The rate is $89 per night, plus taxes and fees.
To secure student housing, complete the student housing form, and mail the form, one night’s room deposit, and a copy of your student member meeting registration receipt to: Biophysical Society, Meetings Department, 11400 Rockville Pike, Suite 800, Rockville, MD 20852, no later than December 5, 2011. You may also send it by fax to (240) 290-5555. Applications must be received by 5:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on this date.
Do not email or fax the form to the BPS Official Housing Bureau: Convention Housing Partners. Incomplete or illegible requests will not be processed and will be returned. After December 5, any remaining student rooms will be made available to all meeting attendees.
